Wonders & Memories

Jose M. Lopez, IMPACTT c/o 2005

Out of sight from all distractions,
Sitting at the endless stream of water.
With a scent of summers rain,
So cool and dry, a gentle breeze against my skin.
Up high in the sky soaring with many wonders,
Like walking through a path
of beautiful unknown sites from here and beyond.
I open my eyes.
I can see the sun,
I'm underneath this magnificent great tree.
With the heat of the sun still shining down on me,
Being taught by those who care.
Having comfort like hugging a teddy bear.
From beginning to end, friend to friend,
My grandfather gave meaning at every path's end.
